Avant Garde Scientific, Inc. is a MD based company specializing in the sale, service and installation of sterilizers, washers, necropsy work stations, controlled environment rooms and other equipment used in the lab animal and lab research facility.

The company is classified as a small, woman owned business. We work with the area Biotechs, Universities as well as NIH, FDA, USDA and Walter Reed.

The company was founded in 1989 by Tim Holden, who saw the need for a small dedicated, responsive, service entity supporting the busy MD research community.

Now nine employees strong, Avant Garde maintains fully stocked work trucks to support the challenges of the Maryland, DC and Virginia Hi-Tech arena.
